And, with that, Adam elbowed the guy to his left full in the nose. Then he twisted to punch the guy to his right in the nuts. The guy went into momentary shock, more than enough time for Adam to grab his skull and twist it until his neck snapped. Then Adam twisted back just as the other guy, the guy with the now broken nose, went to reach for his gun. Adam palmed the guy's nose a second time, and this time he made sure to drive the cartilage right up into the guy's brain, killing him instantly.   

​     All this in about half a second. 

​     By the time Adam turned back around to face Holomos again, he had his gun drawn and aimed at Holomos' forehead. "Anyone else comes in through any door, you die. You got that?" 

​     Holomos' face was as pale as milk. "I...I..." 

​     "I said YOU GOT THAT?" But he wasn't really talking to Holomos at the moment, anyway. He was talking to all of Victor's people who were probably watching on some closed circuit visual feed. For all Adam knew, there were hundreds of soldiers behind every closed door. They had to know that Holomos' life would be over the second they tried to attack. They also had to know, now, how quick and capable Adam himself was. After all, he'd just taken out two of their best men in less than a second.
