I assume that you are all devoted readers. Have any of you seen anything like the Adam Forwarder series, a series that moves along as briskly as a Marvel comic and where the character's sex lives are explored as if no sex taboos ever existed? You know how, a couple of pages ago, I whined about being "terrified" about approaching new aspects of the new series? Yeah, that was a bunch of bull. I was just playing. I can't remember the last time I felt disappointed reading my own stuff, and that is because of my writing process. I am an obsessive rewriter, and, no, I don't mean that in any sort of overly stuffy manner. I'm not aiming for "perfection" or anything like that. (Oliver Stone: "Perfection is the opposite of Great.") I just love to retell myself my own stories. I see something different every time I go through the material. In a metaphorical sense, I see my fiction as theatrical productions and the rewriting process as rehearsal. One thing you can always count on with me: You will always get the very best I can possibly produce. You want to focus on how vulgar and un-woke Adam Forwarder is, fine. It's also fucking well written. You find my work compelling? I spent the last fifty years, my entire adult life, focused on making my stories exactly that, nothing less than that.
Why isn't there more fiction like mine available, quality fiction where the sex is plentiful and as graphic as in porno? So far as I know, I am the only one in my particular genre. I have achieved the Ultimate Cult Goal: I have created fiction so singular that it's fanatically followed by just about nobody.
